I am a London-based artist working at the intersection of painting, textiles, and mixed media. My practice explores the complexities of inhabiting a physical, imperfect body in contrast with the sleek, immaterial nature of digital existence. Themes of transformation, motherhood, mortality, and memory surface through layered, process-driven works that move fluidly between abstraction and figuration.

I embrace both structure and spontaneity, using traditional craft techniques in unconventional ways. Weaving, patchwork, and other system-based constructions provide a foundation for expressive mark-making and organic, shifting forms. Recent works emerge from a daily practice of drawing and writing—gathering fragments of embodied experience, allowing personal motifs and autobiographical elements to take shape intuitively.

Materiality is central to my approach. Threads unravel, paint accumulates, surfaces are worked and reworked, revealing traces of time and movement. The tactile nature of the work invites a sensory response, a feeling of touch through looking. Each piece exists in flux—holding a delicate balance between control and release, surface and depth, presence and absence.
